Immerse yourself in the tranquility of Molino del Rey and enjoy a 6 night transformational retreat. Begin to create a new vision for your life, your family, your business, your work and your whole outlook. Combining practical, physical, spiritual and discussion elements, the retreat will help you to crystallise your ideals into positive and practical steps for the future. Yoga will help unite body and mind and focus your thinking. Music will enhance a meditative environment and bring your life back into balance, helping you to re-centre yourself and remind you of what really matters.

The harmonic blend of music, yoga and meditation, for those who would like to practise their own meditation in the centres meditation caves, will relieve you of the anxieties and stresses of this challenging time and help you to reconsider your future approach to living. Having the time and open space to meet, have fun and relax with like-minded people, will help you to share and reconsider your thoughts about life and how you want to live after the experience of lockdown. How to love better, how to be more creative, how to get more work/life balance and spend more meaningful time with family and friends. We are all contemplating these issues right now. Understand the importance in life of peace, creativity, music, art and nature, in order to return home ready to conquer the world.

Don’t be put off however if you have never practised Yoga before: Beginners are most welcome and the Yoga is not compulsory! If you prefer to, there are many places in the retreat centre where you can just “Be” and “Do your own thing!” if that is what you feel like doing? Be it reading, writing or calm thinking, whilst you wonder at your immediate environment and the beautiful views surrounding it.

Molino del Rey

The name Molino del Rey translates as The Kings Mill. Built on several terraces on the sight of fresh water springs by our genius host Anthony and hostess Lidiya, the bubbling, healing sounds of spring water flowing can be heard from wherever you are in the centre. There are a collection of extraordinary caves inside the terraces on which the property is built, perfect for meditation. Daily delicious, healthy vegetarian brunch and colourful, buffet-style dinner are to die for, together with an honesty bar stocked with local wine for enjoying in the evenings, when we gather to talk and connect over drinks & dinner al fresco.

A Beautiful Retreat

Creative and comfortable accommodation in twin rooms with vibrant coloured interior design, has been carefully thought out by Lidiya, our artistic hostess, yoga teacher and masseuse, who is originally from the Ukraine and with whom you can sign up for International standard massages and spa treatments. Single rooms are available with a small supplement.

Enjoy a beautiful, bright and airy yoga/music studio with fantastic acoustic, specially designed by Anthony, not to mention the partially encaved salt water pool.

Explore the Area

In your free time, there are plenty of nooks and crannies, with couches and loungers on the various terraces, inlaid with mosaics and bedecked with mediterranean flowering plants, for rest, relaxation, basking in the sun or reading in the shade. Activities include hiking in the mountains, horse riding or an early morning jog with other friendly retreaters. There will also be a visit for those who would like, to the nearby town of Ronda.

Travelling together promotes intimacy and when we feel in a safe, supportive space, our essence, together with our creativity can flourish. We are so excited to be hosting this Retreat at the infamous Molino del Rey; if you would like to join us, you can be sure to be made most welcome and expect all your needs to be catered for.
